Life on the Go

Recently this is what my life seems to have become, my working life at least. My car has become my mobile office, and I'd be lost without my iPhone where I can waste wonderful amounts of time while waiting for the next photo assignment.

I am definitely looking forward to cutting back a little and focussing on what I love, and what drives and inspires me. Definitely ready for the next phase of my work life balance.

Somewhere over the rainbow...

It's that time of year, sun showers, dark rain clouds, cold air... it's Autumn. Rainbow season. Oh how I love the beautiful trick of light. We saw the first one for the season yesterday while driving the kidlette's to childcare. Sweet little Lily started singing "Red and yellow and pink and green...." What better way to start a day? But then we actually drive right through it, no pot of gold I'm sorry, but stunning nonetheless.

Oh to be a child again...

To run and play and be excited by all the simple pleasures of the outdoors. Thank You Julia for a day on the farm with the kiddo's. It was absolute bliss to see the excitement and fun beaming from the little monkey's faces, despite the drizzle falling from the sky.

smoosh

He may only be 11 months old, but this little guy is so full of attitude it's sometimes easy to forget... of course he still has no teeth so he's still a little bit 'baby'. Such a little man, Dylan.

Sugar and Spice...

...and all things NICE!

Little Miss Lily, she's just so full of attitude, cuteness and character. I can't begin to think of where she might've got her personality from... (any guesses?)

Friends, food, children and chocolate...

We had a wonderful afternoon catching up with friends (and meeting new ones). Naturally I can't seem to go anywhere without taking my camera along for the ride and I caught some cute moments while Lily made a new "best friend" in Blake, and Nelly the dog. Dylan seemed happy with a Lindt chocolate bunny, but I think it had something to do with the little jingly bell which was quite entertaining for him.

Thanks Carolina and Marcus, the food was delicious, the wine was delightful and the afternoon was full of new memories.

Until we catch up next. xo

Good Friday ... feels like Saturday

A day hanging out at home with the family, it feels like Saturday, not Good Friday... a bit of housework, lazing in the PJ's until midday, and some outdoor (rugged up) fun for my girl.

Fun means slipping, running, stomping, sliding and a dash of dirt and mud. I wouldn't have it any other way. (And add a little chocolate into the mix and things couldn't be sweeter!)
